Arsenal flop Willian wants to leave Gunners and return to Chelsea barely one season after leaving the west London Cub following a dispute in contract talks, that saw the Brazilian moved to the Emirate. He is seeking a return to Stamford Bridge. Will that be possible considering the array of stars at Thomas Tuchel’s disposal? or will his experience and fighting spirit pave way for him?
Willian left Chelsea after his contract expired last year. Willian needed a three year contact at Chelsea but the Blues offered him a two-year-deal as a reward for his contributions in the 2019/20 season which he bluntly turned down. The right footed winger has only managed a single goal for the Gunners in 37 appearance.
It is reported that the winger is seeking for a new challenge and he is keen on returning to his former club to play under Thomas Tuchel. A number of Europeans club, including Inter Miami where ex England International Beckham owns a major share are interested in signing the 32-year-old.
Willian lost his starting berth to Bukayo Saka and young prodigy Emile Smith Rowe who have scored a combined 10 goals for the Gunners this season.
The Brazilian winger won’t leave for free, so if Chelsea are signing him, its going to be for a price.
