Yoruba Actress and Social media celebrity, Iyabo Ojo has blasted Nigerians over her consistent stance for justice for Comedian Princess’s daughter who was defiled by her colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha.

Recall, Baba Ijesha was last month dragged dirty on IG and social media after Princess called him out for allegedly defiling her 14years old daughter seven years ago and sexually molesting her again.

The incident which led to the arrest of Baba Ijesha, ignited heated argument on social media with Nigerians calling for justice for the defiled girl.

Ojo, a mother of two and a frontline campaigner for justice for the defiled minor blasted Nigerians after the accused Baba Ijesha was released on bail by the police on health ground.

Shortly after Baba Ijesha was released, some social media users who were not in agreement with the energy she’s pulled for justice, insisted that she backs down since she’s not the mother of the defiled girl.

Reacting, Ojo took to social media to blast Nigerians for advising her to step down from the case.

The Yoruba actress insisted that the problem and reason victims of abuse don’t get justice was not the fault of the government but the people.

Ojo wondered why any right thinking person would advise her to back down on such a sensitive case as defilement.

Also, she hinted that the problem of Nigeria was embedded in the way Nigerians are wired and not the way the leaders rule the country.

She said, ”i used to think the government was the problem of this particular country called Nigeria but I’ve come to understand that we are our own problem, not the government.

The way we’re wired, the way we think, the way we reason, it’s always all about us. Oh, she’s not your child, why are you so pained about it.

That’s the same problem we have in Nigeria, so when someone like that gets to a place of power, the first thing he or she is going to say will be, they’re not my problem. Let me just make all the money and take care of my own people cos that’s the way we’re wired. We are the problem of Nigeria. The day we begin to take up issues that doesn’t concern us and treat it like it’s our own problem, Nigeria will begin to get better.

We are our own problem. So, my brothers and. sisters, my mummies and daddies, my aunties and uncles; I am that woman, that mother who will stand for that girl till the end. I am not backing down. Justice will be served.”

However, other Nigerians who towed same path with Ojo maintained that the jab against Ojo was unnecessary and disgusting.

Some of you here making nasty comments about Iyabo Ojo's threat after Baba Ijesha was granted bail are just very stupid and I'm here to tell you that. It's always fun until it happens to your very own and then you expect people to support and stand by you.

I fear for the future of Nigeria. The reactions to Baba Ijesha’s bail is like the case of Barabas and Jesus! I really hope that Justice is served in the end😒. And stop attacking Iyabo Ojo for standing up for justice too.

— King Timmy (@timmy_jonez) May 18, 2021

Baba Ijesha being granted bail doesn't mean he will escape justice. Stop with the tantrums at Iyabo Ojo, pedo apologists.

Trolling Iyabo Ojo because Baba Ijesha was granted bail is actually a stupid thing to do.

— Olabode (@edwardbode) May 17, 2021

Som phools are throwing jabs at Iyabo Ojo cos Baba ijesha was relased on bail.

Same fools haven't paused to think of the number of minors at risk of bin molested while he's on bail.

Think of the big picture all the time. Dt Nigga is a risk to society.

— Truth Vendor (@truthvenddor) May 17, 2021

The supposed leaders of tomorrow celebrating cos baba ijesha, a pedophile was granted bail and shaming iyabo ojo for standing against sexual assaults against a minor 😐

Tueh

Later , we say the older ones are the problem

God will epp us

It’s heartbreaking that majority of the people throwing jabs at iyabo ojo are women, like for real…
Y’all will have kids one day and you’ll know how it feels..
Later you’ll abuse victim of molestestation that decides not to speak up,why will they when they know y’all don’t care?
