Investors who invested about two billion naira with Brisk Capital Limited might not retrieve their monies as the company has advised them to forget about the investment following its Chief Executive Officer’s arrest by the security agents.

Brisk Capital Limited, an investment company based in Uyo and run by Mr Dominic Joshua Ngene fell apart with investors after he was accused for diverting over two billion naira from the investor’s funds.

Following the allegations, Ngene was arrested by men of Special Fraud Unit (SFU), after he allegedly promised high Return On Investment, ROI to investors. The Brisk Capital CEO was allegedly to have failed on his promised and misappropriated the funds to buying luxury items like wrist watches, Porsche cars and real estate investments.

According to the police report, Brisk Capital has promised potential investors that with as low as N500,000, the could earn 30% every month including their capital for at least 90 days.

The company had promised on its website, “With the Brisk Business Investor, you can invest 60% of your intended business capital and get back 100% of it within 90 days.

“How about driving that car you want so bad just by investing 60% of the specific amount of your car choice? We would ensure that within 90 days, you get to drive the car of your choice with no stress at all.”

After the CEO was arrested, the company had told investors, “given the circumstances, our hands are tied, our hearts are heavy but our commitment to making repayments is still the same.

“However, as long as our Managing Partner, Mr. Dominic Joshua Ngene is still in custody, we are unable to act on this commitment, as well as schedule the Zoom meeting which was to have him talk to you.”

Further petitions and arrests will only halt any progressive measures, delay repayments and negatively affect the wellbeing of staff and fellow investors.”
