As condolences and sympathies continued to filter into the family of Umoren, the slain job seeker who was brutally raped and murdered by one Uduak Akpan in Nung Ikono Ufok, Uruan local government area last weekend, her elder brother, Ukeme Umoren has gotten an instant employment from Akwa Ibom State billionaire, Mr Akan Udofia.
Recall, the unfortunate death of Miss Umoren, who graduated with a 4.12 accumulative grade point from the department of philosophy has raised serious concern and call for the creation of more jobs for the teeming youths in the state.

Against this backdrop, Billionaire business man and Chief Executive Officer of Desicon, Mr Udofia visited the bereaved family to tender his condolence to them.
Udofia who visited the Umoren’s family on Saturday, 8th May used the medium to offer the elder brother to the deceased lady a job in his company in Port Harcourt.
Details of the job description is yet to be revealed by the donor. Meanwhile, congratulations and appreciation have flooded the media space for Mr Udofia.
Also, few days back, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Engr. Emmanuel Ekuwem had visited the Umoren’s family and assured them of due justice.
The wife of the governor, Dr. Martha Udom Emmanuel was not left out in the sympathy move as she led women, female entrepreneurs and activists to the streets of Uyo to demand for justice for Iniubong and to plead with the state actors to join forces to end all forms of violence against women and girls.
