The former Minister for Women Affairs in President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term, Aisha Jummai Alhassan is dead.

Alhassan, a former Senator in the 7th assembly and All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in Taraba State, in 2015 died in a hospital in Cairo, Egypt.

Cause of death of the popular woman politician is yet to be disclosed by family members.

Mama Taraba as she was popularly called was a member of APC before defecting to United Democratic Party, UDP in 2018.
